Intel on the offense

There can be no fanboyism when it comes to silicon. Not for me. I just want the fastest, baddest chips on the planet. I want them yesterday. Yesterday was day one of IDF, and Intel has me drooling over brand new 45nm Nehalhem silicon which will be a boon to mobile users everywhere- it features a new microarchitecture that will be able to turn off cores and cache dynamically to save energy. Penryn drops November 12, and Nehalhem will follow shortly, and shifted to an even smaller 32nm manufacturing process by the end of 2008, beginning of 2009.

In sad attempt to cover their asses after the fact, MediaDefender has gone after Meganova, a large bittorrent site. In their latest post they mention receiving an email from MediaDefender's lawyers stating that the domain registrar should hand over their personal information.

Their response?

Read it here.

Just good clean fun.

Oh this is just too good... Just when things were cooling down for MediaDefender, a ton of internal e-mails get leaked. Does it make them look bad? Yep. Is it funny as hell? Yep. Bestiality? Meh, why not?

Thanks TorrentFreak!!

People who use Twitter know that the shorter a TinyUrl is, the more text they can fit on their message. For months the defacto standard has been Tiny Url, but somehow, someone managed to find and register a shorter URL.

Take a look at I23.org.

Sadly www.com is taken :(

Okay. So I thought America was going down hill. Like any semi-intelligent American, I've been worried about the way things have been going. We have finally reached the level of unfathomable hopelessness where even Hilary Clinton as president seems like a step up.

Then I ran across this site: http://www.opentalkng.com. Man. Does it suck to live in Nigeria or what?. At least they have internet access.
